Grace, Lea, Nikki & Mikey Voted Back In, £250k
Raised
The public have been voting to bring back four former Big
Brother 7 housemates for the past five days. Tonight, Davina
announced live to the nation which ones were about to return
to the game.
With all ten candidates lined-up in the studio in the order
they left the House, here's how it went:
"Sam... you're not going back in," said
Davina to the first in the queue, who frankly seemed rather
relieved at the news.
"Grace... you're going back in," said the host
as the crowd erupted with cheers and screams, Grace receiving
hugs from her peers.
"Lisa... you're not going back in," said
Davina to a hopeful-looking Lisa, prompting the crowd to let-out
a disappointed sigh.
"Lea... you are going back in," announced Davina,
which evoked the same reaction from the crowd as Grace's name
had.
"Nikki... you are going back in," said Davina as
the crowd shouted 'Come on Nikki'. They gave the biggest cheer
yet.
So, with five to go and just one place remaining, Davina
carried on.
"Jayne... you're not going back in," revealed
the host, much to the crowd's disappointment.
"Michael, you're not going back in," said
Davina, the crowd just giving a feeble clap.
"Spiral, you're not going back in," announced
Davina as she got near the end of the line-up, Spiral receiving
the same response as Michael.
"Mikey, you're going back in," confirmed Davina,
the news of which provoked big cheers again.
"Suzie, obviously, I'm very sorry, you're not going
back in," said Davina to the last one in the queue, however
the crowd were still celebrating Mikey's name.
In the public vote, they received, respectively, Grace -
8%, Lea - 7%, Nikki - 63% & Mikey - 7%, leaving just 15%
between the other six contenders. This means that our Poll
was extremely accurate, reading Grace - 9%, Lea - 7%, Nikki
- 60% & Mikey - 6%, leaving 18% for the other six.
Despite this being a highly-controversial twist, it has certainly
turned-out to be a popular one with viewers, as 5.6 Million
people were watching the show at peak tonight, making for
over 33% of the market share.
This latest twist has also proved popular in terms of the
public taking part in the voting, as £250,00 was raised
for charity. This will be split between Shelter, The Teenage
Cancer Trust and the winning housemate's chosen charity.
