Housemates Turn Into DJs For Latest Task
Forget Chris Moyles, Sara Cox and Pete Tong, there was more
of an air of 'Smashey and Nicey' in the BB House today, as
the housemates tried their hand at being DJs.
The six would-be broadcasters even looked like Harry Enfield's
comic pastiche of a pair of dated DJs, complete with Big Brother
FM T-shirts and black bomber jackets.
Let's just hope their taste in music is better than their
taste in clothes!
To pass the task and gain a luxury shopping budget for next
week, the DJs had to transmit for 90-minutes solid, discuss
various topics, mention some interesting 'Top 5's' and read-out
(make-up) the news and weather.
Everyone did well, with Glyn using his catch phrase "Ohhh
noooo!" and Jennie and Aisleyne doing some nightclub-style
dancing in the booth to a pumping Prodigy tune. Imogen's show
was slightly less successful though, partly because her jingles
were the most annoying ones you've ever heard!
But somewhat predictably, Pete's show was the best, featuring
good pal Dickie as his guest.
Pete introduced his guest by describing him thus: "He's
come all the way from Canada... he's big, he's bad, he's beautiful,
he's bendy, but most of all, he's bald as a coot!" Yep,
it was none other than big Rich, who got Pete back by suggesting
that the 24-year-old was sat there naked and covered in baby
oil.
But alas, all you female admirers out there, it was just
wishful thinking!
Having played some of Rich's favourite tunes on his show
including Eartha Kitt's 'I Love Men' and Sheila E's 'The Glamorous
Life', Pete read-out the news including the earth-shattering
revelation that kamikaze moths had been diving into the pool.
And the traffic information went like this, "Dong. There
seems to be a huge pile-up in the toilet and it does not seem
to be going down... it's just getting worse and worse and
worse and its overflowing... oh my God, it's all over the
carpet. Arghhhhhh! <composed> And now back to Dickie".
Rightly so, 83% of fans who listened to the podcast decided
that the group should pass the task this week... and the DJs
didn't even need to mention all the work they do for 'charidee!'
