Kemal And Anthony Are 'In It To Win It'
Kemal and Anthony have had words over their different reasons
for coming on Big Brother, but at least the pair agreed that
they were both 'in it to win it'.
Hinting at the social experiment aspects of the game, Kemal
asked Ant if he would have gone in for the show if it wasn't
being broadcast on TV.
But, like virtually all housemates from Series 2 onwards
- with the possible exception of a scant few such as Derek
- Anthony wanted the possible fame and fortune that the show
can bring.
"Being on telly, being in the newspapers and having
my mates think I'm a legend," were his reasons for subjecting
himself to almost three months of being cooped-up with a bunch
of total strangers (in every sense of the word this year!)
In a statement that possibly had strains of truth given that
Kemal appears to be finding himself in the House, the camp
student claimed that he was only in it for the experience
of being cut-off from the outside world.
"If you didn't want to be on the (TV) show, you wouldn't
be here," said Anthony, dismissing Kemal's claim and
suggesting that he just wanted to get himself in the public
eye also.
So, one admits that he's in it for the fame, the other claims
that he just wanted to get away from life for a while. Erm,
you could have just gone Butlins or something Kemal. It would
have been a lot less stressful!
Whatever, at least both contestants admitted that they do
want to win the show, but of course, just like the Highlander,
'there can be only one'.
In-order to find a winner though, fourteen people will have
had the chop... let's just hope that, unlike the gory whittling
down of contenders in the aforementioned 80's movie, no-one
literally gets the chop!
