Eugene Gets Upset

Blubbing is usually the domain of renowned cry baby Craig, but today Derek caught Eugene having a bit of a sob. Aww.

As Del returned from his visit to the Diary Room, he found Eugene on his bed with tears in his eyes and duly quizzed his pal over what was wrong.

"Things like we're putting the effort in and we can't even bloody well do it because of outside influences. Anthony's putting some effort in. Not everybody is bothering to put the effort in," said Eugene, clearly crying.

The upset Crawley boy was fearful of the group’s success in the Rodeo task and ‘outside influences’ was a reference to the fact that the sun was making cans and bottles jump-off the shooting range on their own.

However, Big Brother had already assured Derek that they wouldn’t fail the task due to such outside influences.

The real problem, however, was that Eugene had been contemplating what life would be like in the final week if Derek goes this Friday instead of him.

"If I'm not out tomorrow, I'll be up for a week of persecution. Everyone's getting on fine (but) no-one seems to want to bring any dialogue with me,” said the sad puss.

However, what-with Makosi’s comment in a later Team discussion about how Eugene is much stronger than she thought, he might not have anything to worry about after all.
