You Ask Us: How Do I Apply For Big Brother 7?

Despite the fact that our FAQ’s cover this very subject, we’ve been receiving a steady flow of e-mails recently asking, “Have I missed my chance to apply for the next series?”

To clarify the situation: no, you haven’t missed your chance as the auditions haven’t even started yet. Be patient, BB fans!

When Big Brother first began in the UK, it was necessary for wannabe housemates to send-in an application form and video-tape in a bid to catch the producers’ attention.

However, national auditions were introduced from Series 5 onwards, where hopefuls were required to just turn-up to their nearest audition and, er, 'shine'.

Information about these auditions has previously been released around Christmastime. However, last year Channel 4 didn’t release the details until after Celebrity Big Brother 3 had ended in late January.

So, seeing as there’ll almost certainly be a fourth series of CBB in the New Year, we suspect the situation will be the same again. To clarify: audition details will probably be released in late January and auditions will start in February.

One thing’s for sure, we’ll definitely be detailing ‘how, when and where’ to audition when the time comes.
