Jade Collapses During London Marathon Run

Jade Goody has been taken into hospital after dramatically collapsing during her attempt to complete the Flora London Marathon.

The gobby Big Brother 3 contestant was heard to shout, "I'm dying, I'm dying," as stewards took her aside to be treated by paramedics. She'd covered about 20 miles of the 26-mile run, having slowly walked the majority of the way around.

As medics battled to regulate her breathing, onlookers noted that Jade had clearly overheated and was acting hysterically. Almost an hour later, the dizzy 24-year-old was carted-off in an ambulance for further treatment at Whitechapel's Royal London Hospital.

Jade is no stranger to hospital dramas, having had a cancer scare just a week ago. She also collapsed last September while preparing to open her beauty salon, Ugly's, in Hertfordshire.

The renowned dimwit certainly won't be the first person to collapse during such a gruelling task, but she probably is the first person to prepare by consuming loads of takeaway food and booze, and doing next-to-no cardiovascular training!

Jade, who was running on behalf of the NSPCC, said of her ordeal, "Doctors say I’m OK, but I’m gutted that I didn’t get my medal. I’ve only got myself to blame though, as I did hardly any training". Just four short sessions, in fact.

Yep, Forrest Gump was right... "Stupid is as stupid does!"
