Sophie Pledges To Give Siavash £10k
Big Brother 10 Winner Sophie Reade has pledged to give £10,000
of her winnings to the man she beat at the series Finale on
Friday, runner-up Siavash Sabbaghpour.
Appearing on the 'Big Brother's Little Brother' reunion show
today just two days after becoming the victor, Sophie was
quizzed over the matter and confirmed that she intends to
give that amount away.
When asked what he'll do with the money, Siavash –
who received nothing for coming second – replied: "What
I said I was going to do with it: I'm still researching to
see what charity or something to give it to".
Glamour girl Sophie, who hasn't had any modelling work since
last year, scooped over £70,000 when she won the series
by an absolute landslide. The 20-year-old told BBLB host George
Lamb that she was giving Siavash the cash because he earnt
it by wearing a silly lycra costume towards the end of the
series.
She was referring to the fact that the prize money had been
reduced to zero as a punishment because the housemates ran
riot in the camera runs, and Siavash was good enough to give-up
his stylish clothes in-order to return £10,000 to the
prize fund when given the opportunity by Big Bro.
However Marcus, who came 7th overall, was probably a bit
gutted to hear about Sophie's kind gesture, seeing as he forwent
the opportunity to return £15,000 to the prize fund
by refusing to chop-off his ponytail.
Still, it's unlikely that Sophie would have gifted the 35-year-old
martial arts fan anything if he'd cut his barnet and made
her £15k richer, given that the model only nominated
eleven times during the series, and on eight of those
occasions she chose to nominate Marcus.
In contrast, Siavash and Sophie didn't nominate each other
once during the 13-week run.
