Bea: "Hira's Coming Out Of Herself Now"

Bea noted this evening that Hira is becoming a bit more confident now.

Since arriving along with Bea, Dave, Ken and Tom just after Karly was evicted nearly three weeks ago, the 25-year-old fashion designer has made little impact. Indeed, this is possibly the first story we've written that's actually about her, as she didn't do or say anything of note for ages.

However, it looks like that has changed.

Sat chatting to Freddie tonight, Bea said of her fellow latecomer: "Hira's coming out of her shell. She said the (Alice in Wonderland) task and the talent show task have been real sort-of icebreakers".

"I kind-of get the feeling that she doesn't know that many different people," added the 24-year-old Bristolian, continuing: "I think she's led a sheltered life; not wrapped-up in cotton wool, but not meeting those sorts of different people".

Bea also speculated that Pakistani housemate Hira, who had an arranged marriage, has probably spent all her time with people from the same background, and is therefore used to being polite and acting in a certain way.

Before she came into the House, Hira claimed that she's never afraid to say what's on her mind, but we've yet to see that feisty side to her. Her most notable thing was the lame and repetitive song-and-dance routine she did recently, which was admittedly funny, but only in a hilariously-bad way!

Come on Hira, let's see more of that 'spark' you said you had before you arrived.
