Eighth Round Nominees Announced
Big Brother messed around with things last week and eleven
people ended-up facing eviction. However, the eviction was
cancelled because likely evictee Ken quit in the early hours
of Thursday morning.
This week, things were more straightforward, and as a result
the following housemates are facing eviction this week: Noirin
and Marcus.
Well, well, well. So, it's the hunter versus the hunted,
or more accurately given that Marcus has now fallen-out with
her, the 'sulky baby' vs 'the ignored'. But which one is likely
to go on Friday?
In our recent 12-way 'Who do you want out next?' Poll, Lisa
and Marcus were vying for the top spot with the former on
33% and the latter just behind on 32%. Noirin was the next
on the public's hit list, gaining 18% in the same Poll.
So, it might appear that, seeing fans can't get rid of Lisa
for the second week in a row, Marcus will be the obvious evictee?
But hang on a minute...
Fans have definitely tired of his know-all attitude, suspect
BS, unbelievable hardman persona, bad attitude, egotistical
manner, pervy ways and pathetic sulkiness, the latter just
because Noirin got together with another guy when he never
stood a chance anyway.
That said, Marcus may well get a slight reprieve for that
very reason, although we wouldn't go as far as to call it
the sympathy vote. He is also the biggest rebel the show has
ever seen, which is surely a good thing as far as creating
good TV goes?
With regard to Noirin's chances of surviving, fans have definitely
had enough of her feistiness, selfish behaviour and manipulative
behaviour now, and have been gunning for the Irish floozy
for a good couple of weeks.
Her recent 'thing' with Siavash is possibly the last straw
though, especially as she's been leading Marcus on for weeks
and hasn't made it crystal clear to any of her potential suitors
that they don't stand a chance. Indeed, the 25-year-old retailer
has even mentioned her 'ex' and claimed that she still has
feelings for him... so why all the flirting?
So, what's it to be, BB fans? Do we keep moping Marcus in
and hope he gets over Noirin's eviction and gets back to his
rebellious ways and misplaced bravado, or should we retain
Noirin for a little while longer, just to see how her potentially-fake
coupling with Siavash pans out?
Fans of Siavash, who has now slipped in the bookies' rankings
due to his association with Noirin, will doubtless want to
see the back of her. However, if Noirin goes, that rather
messes-up Big
Brother's plan to put her ex-boyfriend in. After all,
what would be the point of that if she gets evicted?
Anyway, who goes? YOU decide!
The 7th Eviction of Big Brother 10 will take place on Friday
the 31st of July 2009, and voting lines are now open. The
voting telephone numbers will be detailed in another article
from Week 8 of our Latest News section soon.
Don't forget to go and vote in our Home page Poll relating
to the 7th Eviction, which will go live later tonight and
run until Friday evening. Remember, it's just for fun and
you still need to register a phone vote-or-two if you desperately
want rid-of a particular nominee.
Just two people are up this week, but it should be close,
so it might actually be worth having a little flutter on the
outcome of the eviction this week.
