Angel Wins Fight In Live TV Debut

Former Big Brother 10 contestant and 3rd Evictee Angel has won her first televised professional fight, shown live on ITV4.

Fighting under the name Angel 'The Artist' McKenzie, the 30-something Russian beat Lana Cooper on Saturday night (18/07/09) in her live TV debut.

After four rounds, Angel – who's never stopped anyone during her seventeen previous paid bouts – won on points: 39/37.

With her hair braided back and wearing red, Angel didn't seem to need her guard against the Welsh Cooper, keeping her fists down low when not throwing punches.

During the four 2-minute rounds, one commentator reckoned that Angel wasn't a great puncher, but noted that the cumulative effect of her punches would add-up.

And indeed it did. With former housemates Saffia and Sree by the ringside to cheer her on, Angel easily took the win, celebrating at the end by doing a breakdance move.

We just wish it had been Lisa in the ring with her!
