Come On Big Bro, Make Them Stay Awake!

The live feed, what little we have to watch, reached a new low tonight...

With the live coverage not having started until 12.30am (Sunday morning), by then most of the housemates had gone to bed. So, with Charlie in the Diary Room, the only other person to focus on was Marcus. Joy!

So, we had shots of Marcus breathing. Marcus twitching his nose. Marcus looking gormless/ resembling the Churchill Insurance Dog. Oh, and thrown-in for good measure, a Marcus close-up allowing us to count his nasal hairs. Eww!

Mostly though, it was Marcus just lying there, staring into space and not moving a muscle. Enthralling stuff.

We can't believe that the Big Brother 10 housemates go to bed so early, so soon. Okay, we accept that the contestants will have early nights in the later stages of the game, when everyone is beginning to run out of energy and the conversation has been exhausted.

However, usually, for at least the first half of the series, a few housemates will stay up until 2am, 3am, until the sun rises even. Not this lot, who despite having an average age of 26, seem to go to bed before the BBO Team's Mums and Dads!

So, Big Brother, can you please do something – give them an all-night task, provide them with some board games, supply them with a load of booze, bribe them – anything to get them to stay-up later and give fans something to watch until the newbies arrive on Friday.

Otherwise, it makes a complete mockery of the fact that Channel 4 scrapped the daytime live feed this year.
