Lisa On Fame And Falling Out-Of Nightclubs
In the more recent series of Big Brother, it has become de
rigueur for the contestants to discuss what they might get
out of their appearance on the show in terms of fame and fortune.
Thankfully, we haven't heard much talk of that nature during
Big Brother 10, until now...
For tonight, Charlie, Karly and Lisa had a brief conversation
about the media and what coverage they might get when they
come out.
With Lisa having mentioned it, enthusastic Job Centre worker
Charlie speculated that a record company might release a dance
version of Bucks Fizz’ 1980's hit 'My Camera Never Lies',
because he always sings it around the House (not that fans
would know, seeing as they don't have a 24/7 live feed).
Then, as sure as eggs is eggs, the trio had the customary
'I can't wait for us to go out on the town' type conversation,
before discussing how they might be pictured in the tabloids
falling out-of nightclubs etc. Lisa said that she hopes not
to get that sort of coverage, but admitted that she would
do a photo shoot for a gay magazine if asked.
Charlie noted that the public love to read juicy gossip about
celebrities, and Lisa suggested that newspapers blatantly
lie, the three of them agreeing that the tabloids will often
make things up just to fill their pages.
Lisa then gave an example of how she could be making a personal
appearance at a nightclub and have her picture taken close
to another female, and Charlie interjected and suggested the
headline would be: Lisa's New Girlfriend?
However, Lisa had already alluded to the fact that the show
isn't on 24 hours-a-day now, and arguably because of that,
newspapers such as the Daily Mirror aren't even covering Big
Brother every day.
So, it looks like her tabloid coverage has ended before it
has even begun!
