Talking About Tom
After watching their own re-enactment of Day 50's events
on the plasma screen tonight, the housemates discussed latecomer
and subsequent quitter Tom Oliver in the early hours of Wednesday
morning.
Tom arrived literally just before Karly got evicted at the
end of Week 6, along with Bea, David, Hira and Ken. However,
when the musclebound yacht broker quit the show about a week
later, he trashed Sophie's pseudo BB boyfriend Kris and suggested
that all of his peers had gone on the show for the wrong reasons.
And in the actual episode that the five Finalists had to
recreate for the latest shopping budget task, Tom dubbed his
peers a 'houseful of drama queens' when talking to Big Brother
in the Diary Room.
Commenting on his posh former peer tonight, fellow latecomer
Dave said: "I knew straight away I wouldn't like Tom,"
but Charlie stated that he liked him at first. However, David
added that the 27-year-old Tory was really snappy with him,
and Siavash stated that he spent most of his time with Tom
even though he had reasons to dislike him i.e. because he
was a potential love-rival.
On that note, Sophie suggested that Tom thought he would
make a big impact with the girls, but that didn't happen.
Her comment prompted gay housemate Charlie to say that he
never fancied the fitness fanatic despite the fact that he
had a good body, which in-turn prompted David to bitch: "I
thought he was alright at first, but once you get to know
somebody they can have a 12-pack, 6-pack, 50-pack, (but) it's
personality isn't it?"
To be honest, we wish he'd stayed in the game a bit longer
to stir things up and challenge Marcus in the Alpha Male stakes,
but hey ho.
