Charlie Thinks He's Popular
When Lisa got the boot on Tuesday night, an excited Charlie
told Big Brother that he felt like he was going to burst,
having realised that the remaining housemates – Dave,
Roddy, Siavash, Soph' and himself – have definitely
reached the Final. And it looks like the 22-year-old thinks
he can go all the way...
For the group were given a task this afternoon whereby big
Dave was quizzed by Big Brother over a series of matters relating
to the current series, and had to try and guess what his peers
were likely to have said.
One of the clothing recycler's tasks was to rank the others
in order of perceived viewer popularity, going on what he
thought they would say. Meanwhile, his peers represented their
decision by standing on four podiums in the garden, going
from No.1 being the 'most' popular, to No.4 being the 'least'
popular.
Sophie declared that Charlie should be No.1, while Rodders
put himself at No.3. However, Charlie thought Rod was the
2nd most popular housemate as far as the fans were concerned,
and then changed his mind to say: "I think Rodrigo, Number
1".
However, the oft-childish Geordie was probably paying lip
service to the Brazilian student, as he nevertheless remained
in the top spot, glued to podium No.1.
So, in the end, the order was Charlie first, then Rodrigo,
Sophie next and last-but-not-least Siavash on No.4. The latter
had little to say during the proceedings, and even joked that
he was so far out-of favour that he should be placed at the
Bus Stop!
But as things settled down, the stylish Iranian sarcastically
quipped, "Thank-you very much for no-one arguing for
me being number 4!", which made Sophie laugh.
Anyway, we know that he was pushed into it by Sophie and
to an extent Siavash, but given that he didn't put-up much
of a fight, it would appear that Charlie believes he's really
popular on the outside, which is not entirely his own fault
given that they've been telling him he's gonna' win for weeks.
However, the fact is that he stands no chance of
winning. Indeed, in our last 'Who Do You Want Out Next?' Poll
of the series, he was vying with long-term hate-figure Lisa
in the unpopularity stakes, so quite frankly he'll be lucky
to beat David.
