Who Goes Tonight? YOU Decide!
As you probably know by now, it's Marcus versus Siavash tonight
in the penultimate eviction, and we think it's going to be
a very close-run thing.
We're not going to list possible reasons for keeping or punting
either one, as we've been
through that already. We're just going to speculate over
why fans might go against each nominee for their recent behaviour.
For we feel that the outcome will be decided tonight, and
also reckon that the highlights show could be influential.
Regarding Marcus, he undoubtedly became more popular after
beating Freddie in a similarly-close eviction a couple of
weeks back. Freddie went with 53% of the vote in the end,
but there was a late swing in public opinion and it looked
like Marcus would be going at the beginning of the week.
However, some fans believe that the man who calls himself
the 'irrepressible dark horse' has become a too cocky lately,
something he accused Freddie of being towards the end of his
stay. Plus, the 35-year-old has become a bit too rude and
nasty again, after calming that sort of behaviour down for
a while.
Siavash has been up and down as far as his chances in the
game are concerned, and it started going wrong for him when
he shacked-up with Noirin. However, he seemed to recover from
that situation after her eviction, but for the last couple
of weeks he has refused to nominate, and frankly, it hasn't
done him any favours.
The 23-year-old supposedly abstained because he wants to
get to the end on merit. In other words, he doesn't want to
'do a Lisa' i.e. make it to the Final and crow about how well
you've done when the public haven't really had a chance to
get rid of you. Indeed, Lisa's pride in getting this far is
misplaced, as the public have wanted her out all series, so
it's not as if she's popular.
Anyway, seeing as the two nominees are roughly 50/50 in the
Polls, tonight's highlights show may well influence the fans.
We say that because Marcus will be seen refusing to give-up
his ponytail to help the group, whereas Siavash agreed to
give-up his stylish clothes to get some prize money back after
Big Brother took it all away.
On the other hand, Siavash will be seen waffling-on about
giving the prize money to charity, which some fans are bound
to see as a gameplan. That said, later-on yesterday, Siavash
also talked about setting-up a home for underprivileged kids
in-order to give them a chance; it sounded pretty genuine
to us, even if he's unlikely to do it.
However, if you were to push us into guessing who'll go tonight
at the 11th Eviction, we'd say that it will probably be Marcus
with at least 53% of the vote. Suffice to say that if you
really want rid of one nominee in particular, or indeed wish
to try and save the other, you must vote.
Who goes tonight? YOU decide!
You have until around 9.30pm tonight, Friday the 28th of
August 2009, to register your vote/s. You can find the voting
numbers in Week 12 of our Latest News section. Don't forget
to tune-in to the two Channel 4 shows at 9pm and 10.35pm tonight
to see who prevails.
And if you haven't voted in the relevant Home page Poll
yet, please do-so. We'll start a few new Polls by Saturday
morning, and if you have any suggestions for final week Polls,
please let us know.
Lastly, as it's gonna' be close again this week, it might
be worth having a little gamble on the outcome of the eviction?
