Twelfth Round Nominees Announced
The twelfth round of nominations took place yesterday afternoon
and yet again Siavash failed to nominate. However, it didn't
actually affect the end result, and the two people facing
eviction this week are: Marcus and Siavash.
So, to use a tabloidism, it's the Battle of the Alpha Males,
who faced each other in a wrestling match recently when, somewhat
surprisingly, Siavash came out victorious. But can the younger
nominee repeat the feat on Friday?
Siavash has undoubtedly been a popular housemate for most
of the series, whereas the public have wanted Marcus out for
weeks. Indeed, in all but the first of our weekly 'Who Do
You Want Out Next?' Polls, Marcus has consistently been ahead
of Siavash, often by a huge margin. However, Siavash's recent
behaviour has done him no good.
We're referring here to his failure to nominate time-and-time
again, which was put down to his insecurity at first, but
has now started to grate on fans because it's pretty pointless
really. Talk about throwing it away?
There's not much else to say about Siavash; he comes across
as a decent bloke, but some viewers won't have forgotten that
he jumped into the arms of Noirin just as soon as Marcus was
put into prison, something you don't do to your mates-slash-allies.
That said, it's not as-if Marcus (who no longer counts him
as a friend) was actually going-out with Noirin or even stood
a chance with her romantically. He was just a creepy stalker-like
figure, and it's a bit odd how fans have forgotten about all
his bad behaviour and moodiness recently.
For weeks, fans thought Marcus was a creepy, egotistical,
deluded, crude, rude and pathetic figure, but just because
he stood-up to Bea a week-or-so ago, he seems to have become
more popular all-of-a sudden (even though some fans saw it
as part of a gameplan).
Okay, so he has entertained at times with his rebellious side
and arguably honest nature, but in real life would you choose
Marcus over Siavash as a mate?
It looks like we'll find-out the answer to that question
when you go and vote in our Home page Poll. Ultimately, however,
it will be the actual public phone vote that tells us whether
the Iranian events man can beat the self-titled Irrepressible
Dark Horse again or not.
Who stays, who goes? YOU decide! Whatever happens, we think
it's safe to say that whoever survives this week will be in
very strong contention to win the whole show.
We're expecting it to be fairly close this week, so it might
be worth having a little bet on the outcome of the eviction?
If you look in our Betting
Zone section, where you can find details of some Free
£25 Bets, you'll see that we've made a good few hundred
'quid by betting on the weekly evictions.
Just make sure that you can afford to lose the amounts you
bet, but if you just want to have a bit of fun without risking
too much cash, you could always back a Winner just to make
watching the Finale that bit more interesting. You can still
get decent odds on several of the contenders.
The 11th Eviction of Big Brother 10 will take place on Friday
the 28th of August 2009, and voting lines will open shortly.
The voting telephone numbers will be published in another
article from Week 12 of our Latest News section soon.
Don't forget to go and vote in our Home page Poll relating
to the 11th Eviction, which has now gone live along with a
couple of other Polls, and will run until Friday evening.
Remember, they're just for fun though, and you still need
to register a phone vote-or-two if you desperately want rid-of
one nominee in particular.
