Lisa: "Marcus Wants To Win"
While Lisa didn't actually say that Marcus wants to win in
so many words this afternoon, she noted that he seems to have
changed his tune about leaving, which has fuelled fan speculation
that he's more cunning than he gets credit for.
Having told Big Brother that she's getting-on with everyone
now but particularly Charlie, David, Rodrigo and Sophie, the
unemployed Brummie stated: "Marcus has really changed
the last couple of weeks". She then noted that the 35-year-old
claimed he wanted to go home for weeks on end, but didn't
mention it at all last week.
Lisa seems to have taken that in a positive way, but some
fans have pointed-out that it's an example of Marcus' clever
gameplan, citing the week that he and Freddie faced possible
eviction, and suggesting that Marcus deliberately manipulated
Fred by telling him not to challenge Bea, but then went and
challenged her himself.
This resulted in Marcus gaining popularity during a late
swing in public opinion, which ultimately saw-off his
rival. Since then, with multiple eviction survivor Freddie
out-of the running, Marcus hasn't talked about wanting to
go home once.
Lisa concluded her chat with Big Brother by saying that sometimes
she thinks Marcus does care (about winning). And she is not
alone, however nonchalant the pony-tailed Londoner is over
the matter.
Still, it's not a crime to want to win a show that you've
given-up 13 weeks to be on, so who cares if he wants to win?
The concern, however, is more about the way he's going about
it.
