We Smell Something... And It Isn't Soap!

You've got to hand it to Marcus, he knows a lot of stuff... well, he thinks he knows a lot of stuff!

Today, the lesson he gave was one of psychology-slash-science-slash-philosophy, which began when Sree started talking about how some people get on with their peers and others don't.

The conversation soon went from amateur psychology to full-blown science, with window fitter Marcus explaining, "There's chemicals that come off your skin that people can smell, but your brain doesn't actually register that you're smelling it, it just makes you behave in a certain way".

The would-be professor continued by explaining that some people have a good reaction to smells and some have a bad reaction, perhaps forgetting that he's not actually living with dogs (um, apart from 'Dogface').

"There's nothing you can do about it. Some people you can spend time with, some people you can't; it's just the facts of life," said the sideburn-wearer, philosophically.

Hmm, that would seem to be stating the obvious, and we doubt it's got anything to do with smell unless your housemates are complete soap-dodgers like Big Brother 3's 'Spanky' Spencer Smith.
