In the most silly and surreal instalment of the Speed Dating game tonight, Marcus played the part of a circus animal and his date Saffia claimed to be a clown. What the...?!

Usually during a date, especially a really short one, you would try and 'big yourself up', steering away from your bad points. Not Marcus.

For the fuzzy-faced 30-something decided to admit to having uncontrollable flatulence. Nice.

However, far from being put off, his equally nutty date was very understanding, saying: "It's better out than in!" She did, however, admit that although she could train him (he was supposed to be an elephant), a relationship between them could be a bit noisy and smelly.

We're not entirely sure if this fictional pairing would be strictly legal, but it was certainly a completely bonkers and mind-boggling notion!
