Saffia Has Quit The Game

27-year-old beauty consultant Saffia Corden has quit the game and left the Big Brother House; she entered the Diary Room at around 8.20pm tonight (Thursday, 11th June) and left via the back door.

Her reason for leaving was a combination of her earlier showdown with Sophia and the fact that she was missing her kids. Indeed, before she even entered the House Saffia said that she would miss her two children – a seven year-old girl and a thirteen month-old boy – 'immensely'.

However, that didn't stop her going on the show, and it didn't stop her consequently taking flak from a children's charity, who thought she should have put her motherly duties first.

Big Brother didn't exactly help matters in respect of her feud with Sophia, by telling the group that Sophia had said she wants to nominate Saffia every week, and consequently punishing everyone. This made Saf' cry and tell Big Bruv that she wanted to go earlier today.

In her profile, Saffia claimed to be very competitive and said of herself that she always has to come top, but by quitting she has in fact come near-bottom in the game, lasting just 8 days and beating only Beinazir Lasharie.

Her reasons for leaving and her goodbye will be shown on Friday night during the live eviction shows. The Freddie vs Sophia eviction will still go ahead and is unaffected by Saffia's departure.

In the meantime, we wouldn't be surprised if a great number of fans are now smacking their forehead with their palm in despair. After all, having seen what Big Brother is all about from the past nine series, you'd surely have to be a complete idiot to audition, come on the show and then ask to leave just one week in?

Sorry, but we have no sympathy for people that waste a space/ opportunity, kids or no kids.
