It's Oh So (Relatively) Quiet

Okay, so it's not as if the Big Brother House has been turned into a nunnery, but we're really surprised with this latest bunch of contestants...

We say that because normally, for the first few hours of a new series we have to reach for the volume button to save our ears from the non-stop "Oh my gods", screeching, exaggerated laughter and newbie housemates talking over one another at full bore.

However, this lot seem well reserved in comparison to previous years' groups, and it's all rather tame so far. Indeed, no-one really stands out as 'the mouthy one', except perhaps that Magic Numbers-slash-Jesus guy (Siavash), who seems to like the sound of his own voice!

So, does this mean that they're a boring bunch, or does it just mean that there are no obviously annoying characters, like nutty touchy-feely weirdo Shahbaz Chauhdry a few years back?

We'll just have to wait and see.
