First Round Nominees Announced

After just four days in the Big Brother House, Beinazir was 'rejected' as a bona fide housemate on Sunday night, bringing the number of contenders in the game to fifteen. The first round of nominations took place yesterday (Tuesday, Day 6), and the result is that the nominees facing the 1st Eviction are:

Freddie/ Halfwit and Sophia.

From our recent 'Who do you most want to see evicted next?' Poll it seems obvious what's going to happen on Friday night: Sophia will get the boot by a huge margin (75%?). We say that because the gobby banker commanded the highest percentage in our Poll, receiving 26% of the vote when up-against fourteen others. Freddie had just 4%.

Admittedly, Freddie is a very eccentric (read: odd) character and his privileged background should put people off. However, he's harmless really and can be quite amusing at times. Plus, his vague sexuality makes him rather interesting.

However, despite tales of her illness – which could have brought her sympathy – short-stuff Soph' just hasn't gelled with the public. The 26-year-old was the first person to kick-off and challenge one of her peers, and is very mouthy despite her dinky stature.

But while feisty characters are undoubtedly good for the show, the public isn't prepared to give her a chance. Indeed, the Londoner claimed to have the gift of the gab when she arrived, but frankly fans have heard enough already!

The 1st Eviction of Big Brother 10 will take place on Friday the 12th of June 2009 and voting lines will open later today. The voting telephone numbers will be detailed in another article from our Latest News section soon.
