Davina's Eviction Interviews: Now Tougher Than Ever

It seems that Channel 4 have been listening to fans, because they've vowed to make the eviction interviews much tougher for Big Brother 10.

Okay, so it has only taken nine years of moaning by fans about how Davina McCall goes way too easy on all the interviewees, but from the 1st Eviction of BB10 onwards, the evicted housemates will be grilled more than ever before.

Indeed, Channel 4 have even bandied the word 'interrogation' around and announced that two guest interviewers will help Davina with all the interviews. Her assistants will be journalists, celebrities, former contestants or uber fans, which should be good if they can get a kind-of Good Cop/ Bad Cop/ In-between Cop thing going between them.

Actually, the purpose of having two guest interviewers is so that one can ask the real probing questions and the other can make observations based on their knowledge of the show. The guest interviewers will change each week, and their introduction has to be an improvement over Davina's sometimes sycophantic or safe interviewing technique.

We wait with bated breath to see how it all pans out.

The first interview will take place during the second of tonight's live eviction shows, when either Freddie or (much more likely) Sophia will face the panel of three.
