Latest On The 'Extra Eviction' Rumour

The rumour mill has been churning out possible scenarios for whittling down the last of the BB5 contestants of late, but nothing is confirmed at this time.

It has been speculated that there'll be a surprise eviction in the last week of the series, during which one member of the group will leave according to the result of a pub-style quiz.

However, according to our inside sources, nothing has been decided yet as the top brass are not sure what Daniel is going to do.

It seems that they've taken seriously his threats to throw away a possible win, and would therefore be happy to let him go in the last week, rather than have to evict someone on the Wednesday as planned.

The thing is, Daniel is a media savvy guy who fronts a band and applied for Big Brother, so surely he is a popularity and attention seeker by default?

Why, then, would he not want the glory (and money!) of winning the popularity contest that is Big Brother? Are his threats to quit just a load of hot air?

We think so, in which case a 'surprise' eviction to whittle the last five housemates down to four is very likely in that final week of the show.
