Wedding Task Itinerary

The latest task will last for three days and here's the schedule of events:

Day 1 - Monday Daytime. The housemates must assign themselves a role to play out of the seven available, one for each member of the group. The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

THE GROOM, who's duties involve marrying the bride, and writing and delivering a Reception speech.

THE BRIDE, who will marry the Groom and make her own wedding dress. Obviously, the Groom must not see the dress before the big day.

THE BRIDESMAID, who'll make Bridesmaid dresses, help prepare the Bride's hair and make-up on the day of the wedding and walk behind the Bride in the wedding procession.

THE BEST MAN, who's duties are to write and deliver the (traditionally corny) Best Man speech, to look after the wedding rings and, somewhat strangely, to decorate the cake!

THE CHORISTER, who must learn the hymn 'Pie Jesu' and sing it at the wedding service. Hold your ears folks!

THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE, who will accompany the Bride down the aisle and give her away, as well as writing a speech, helping the Best Man decorate the cake and, of course, throwing down some moves at the evening bash. 'Dad-dancing' ahoy!

THE VICAR, who's duties are to write and deliver the wedding service.

On the first day of the task, the male housemates will prepare for their roles whilst the girls pamper themselves, doing nails and hair etc. Three days should be enough for that (oooh, don't upset the sisters! - Ed)

Day 1 - Monday Evening. HEN NIGHT - The bride-to-be will get the traditional 'final night of freedom', for which the boys have been told they must provide entertainment. But will they go The Full Monty?

Day 2 - Tuesday Daytime. The female housemates will prepare their roles for the wedding and the men will have a day of playing with boys toys and gadgets.

Day 2 - Tuesday Evening. STAG NIGHT - The lads will have their 'stag do', but will they be allowed to get up to the usual levels of silliness and drunken debauchery, given that the girls will actually be there providing entertainment? Good job there's no lampposts in the Big Brother house!

Day 3 - Wednesday Daytime. On the DAY OF THE WEDDING, the garden will be dressed especially for the task and the outfits will be delivered. The wedding service will then take place, followed by the Reception.

If everything goes smoothly, the housemates will pass the task and be rewarded with a privilege pass and a full shopping list next week.
