Big Bro Breaks The Rules

The omnipresent one has got rather caught-up in the Christmas spirit today and broken it's own rules, by allowing the housemates contact from the outside world.

Summoned to a Christmassy-looking diary room one by one, the group were each awarded a letter which dropped through the letterbox of a mock front door. It was a Christmas card from their families.

Upon opening their special mail, which contained messages and photos, they were all chuffed, with Jon chuckling to himself, Ray cooing and Scott and Steph both similarly pleased.

But it was Cameron who came over the most emotional, having received a handwritten message from his parents, which prompted tears from the Orkney boy.

"How kind. That's very nice," he said to BB, fighting back the tears. Awww, poor old Cam... he's got all of 24 hours to wait until he sees them again!

So, it's the end of Series 4 and having provided messages from relatives and Crimbo pressies for the group, it seems that Big Bro is getting a bit soft in it's old age. Whatever next?

A prison-style leave of absence at the weekend if the housemates are good? Or perhaps a trip to the Bahamas, or Africa even. No hang on... that's happened already!
