Christmas Comes But TWICE A Year!
In a slightly farcical situation, Big Brother has decided
to reward the housemates with a surprise Christmas-themed
day today, despite failing their weekly task yesterday.
At around 8.15am the five housemates were firmly in the land
of nod when Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas' blared
out of the speakers.
Like a bunch of excited kids rising early in the wake of Santa's
sleigh, all five were up immediately and headed for the lounge,
where they found a tinsel-decked Christmas tree and a fireplace
complete with five large stockings.
"Oh my goodness gracious!" exclaimed Steph as a
cheer went up from the group, followed by a burst of jumping
around the place like hyper primary school tots.
Then the housemates spotted the 'reindeer and sleigh' out
in the garden, aka the horses and pedalo from previous tasks
- they'd been recycled by the all-seeing power.
Who says Big Brother's a cheapskate?
As they delved into their individual stockings, Scott 'sent-up'
the situation by thanking Big Bro for not cancelling Christmas,
'even though some of them had been naughty!'
The five soon piled into the diary room to offer a thank-you
to the omnipresent power for it's generosity.
Later in the afternoon, Jon prepared a turkey dinner for everyone
along with the traditional seasonal fare of mince pies and
mulled wine. However after a Christmas Carol singalong, the
group soon tired themselves out.
So, it's been a grand day so far, but was Big Brother going
to provide them all with gifts aswell?
Pop back later to find out.
