Nush Leaves The House
With nearly 67% of the public vote, Nush lost to Cameron and
has therefore become the 9th person to be evicted from the
Big Brother House.
There were over 1.4 Million votes cast, the highest yet of
any eviction this series. This indicates more interest from
the public generally, not more desire to get someone out,
as per some of the Big Brother evictions in the past!
Having spent 8 full weeks in the House, yoga fan Nush will
be best remembered for her 'almost-fling' with Scott. However
her, erm, distinctive laugh also made it's mark, as did the
fact that she continually interrupted everyone's conversations
in favour of talking about herself!
When she was told to leave, Nush, who'd said to Jon that she
was 'sad to go, but was okay about it', headed up the stairway,
turned and waved to the remaining five housemates and quickly
came down to meet her tearful family.
Beaming from ear to ear, the gorgeous-looking Malvern lass
made her way along the 'walk of shame' accompanied by Davina
and took in all the banners as she went. There was massive
cheering from the crowd with not one single boo heard. And
rightly so.
Once inside the studio, Nush told Davina that she was feeling
good about seeing her family. When asked if she had any idea
why she was nominated, her reply was, "Because I interrupt
all the time and I can be quite emotional?"
When shown the actual reasons, she had no real reaction
to Cam's, accepted Ray's that she interrupts and changes the
subject to talk about herself, but was genuinely shocked at
Steph's reasons and seemed let down by the Brummie girl.
About the fact that Steph had 'gone off on one' over not being
picked for the reward room last weekend, Nush admitted that
she felt embarrassed about it, but confirmed that either she
or Cam would have picked Steph if they'd had the chance.
The air had been cleared between her and Steph just before
Nush left.
Davina then asked what her reaction was to having Jon return
to the House, to which she replied, "I didn't expect
it but actually, having Jon back has been a pleasure".
Nush had sensed that The Tickle had come back and deliberately
set-out to be controversial.
She was then shown the (many) tabloid headlines that referred
to her craving for nookie, which had her in absolute hysterics.
But then the interview moved on to the difficult subject of
her boyfriend Geoff.
"This is a tricky one...", began the 23-year-old
before Davina interrupted, declaring that the man in question
had sold the rights to his story to a tabloid newspaper and
was being holed up in a hotel room.
"Knowing that information...", began Nush, this
time finding the right words to complete her sentence about
the man who'd dumped her whilst she was in the House:
"It's hard to stay in love with somebody when they spend
so much of the year away from you".
Davina just about had time to quiz the flirty ex-housemate
about her relationship with Scott, prompting Nush to say 'he's
a lovely guy' but that she didn't fancy him. It was a case
of just good friends, despite all the flirting.
So, that's it, the one chance we had of a relationship blossoming
has now ended. Still, it kept us all interested in the latter
weeks of the game so thanks must got to Nush for that.
Nush: well done in lasting until the penultimate week and
Good Luck in finding the right man.
