Appeal - Will You Help Us?
Over the past 9 weeks, the BBO Team have brought you many
Big Brother Stories, Polls, Competitions and a great Forum
and we hope that you've enjoyed visiting our site. We appreciate
it when people tell us that they like what we do, but now
we really need your help and support.
Over the coming months we'd like to do something that will
take a massive amount of effort on our part... like getting
out of bed before midday! No, we mean, like raising some dosh
for charity by running a marathon or taking part in a lengthy
bike ride etc.
The Editor has kind-of personal reasons for wanting to do
this and we'll gladly share them with you if you can pledge
your support. To put it into perspective, just a 'quid from
everyone who visits the site would net a £1Million+.
However, it would be great if our site visitors felt they
could sponsor us to the tune of a few 'quid, a fiver or even
£10 (or £1000 in the case of the Channel 4 fat
cats!)
Talking of which, we'd just like to remind you that we are
not connected to Channel 4 in any way and so won't
be getting any help from them. It cost us an arm and a leg
to keep the site running this year and it would be great to
get something back for good causes, like Cancer Research and
fighting Heart Disease.
So, whether you just came to view our Polls, read our Stories
regularly, participated in the Forum or just came to enter
our Competitions (cheeky!), please help. We're not asking
for too much, are we?
We hope you don't mind us appealing to you, but you've got
to ask everyone possible when you're looking for sponsorship
and you lot have just become our new best friends! Seriously,
to paraphrase BB2's Bubble, it doesn't matter what you think
of the staff or the site, if you'd like to do your little
bit towards helping the above causes, please do so.
So, to re-iterate: if this gets off the ground it ain't gonna'
be easy for us and we're also hoping to rope some of the ex-BB
contestants in on the action if possible... oh, they'll be
pleased! But, we really do urge you to pledge your support
right NOW if you feel you can help - please don't leave it
to someone else (that's not a deliberate 'guilt trip' thing
btw!)
You can contact us by e-mail (click
here), via our forum, carrier pigeon, whatever; just get
in touch!
Many thanks in advance for your support - we really appreciate
it.
