The Beach Boys (And Girls)

For completing the 'entertainers' mini-task last night, Big Bro promised a themed beach party and it certainly delivered this morning.

Upon waking, the housemates discovered that the overseeing power had converted the garden into a seaside scene, complete with sand pits, hoopla stalls and deck chairs!

"Oh, it's brilliant!" enthused Jade, before adopting her rather over-used 'baby voice' and saying, "Look at these horses everywhere." The 21-year-old was referring to the many carousel-style horses spread around the garden.

Adopting a similar infantile tone, Kate expressed her excitement at the transformation, but the boys were not so enthusiastic.

"I tell you, man, they've put some work into this, haven't they?" stated Jonny calmly, as Alex lay in a hammock and wished for decent weather.

But there was more to come, as the girls found seafood and tropical beachwear waiting for them in the store room.

Donning the Bermuda shorts, Hawaiian shirts and flower garlands provided, they looked every bit the tropical tourists and were like a couple of excited kids when Big Bro announced that they could keep all the garish garb!

It's just a shame the Hertfordshire sun wasn't befitting of the tropical dress.

Still, one of the four will be able to visit the tropical destination of their choice after scooping Friday's £70k prize.
