Jade And Alex Finally Call A Truce

After a second unsuccessful attempt to patch things up with Alex earlier today, Jade described the way she feels as, "Lower than a cockroaches legs."

She did not, however, confirm if she was referring to a squashed cockroach or not!

Alex walked away from the Bermondsey girl this afternoon after saying, "I can't be bothered to talk with you, I really can't. I don't want to... get stuffed!"

However, the pair have finally called a truce, nearly 24 hours after last night's big barnie.

Talking to Alex tonight, Jade tried once more to build the bridges. "Last night when we had our tiff," Jade said treading carefully, "you said some nasty, horrible things, but you're entitled to your opinion."

And on this occasion, Alex was more willing to forgive and forget, saying, "What was said was said." The male model then added, "What I said today doesn't mean I don't like you."

However, did he genuinely mean it or was the self-confessed 'player' just playing the game? His later comments may have offered a clue...

"It's coming to a close now (the end)," said the Essex boy, adding, "If I'm here for another week, let's just get on with it."

So, was he really sorry for what he said last night, was he just after a peaceful week, or was he back-peddling in order to endear the voting public?
