"Talk To The Hand!"

It's late afternoon and Jade has gone back on her word, that she would not try to 'make-up' with Alex over last's night ruck.

Talking to Jonny earlier today, the Bermondsey lass said, "I don't think I'm going to make the effort to talk to Alex. If he wants to talk to me I'm sure he will. If he doesn't, it's no skin off my nose."

However, rather predictably she has forgotten her own nonchalant words and decided to confront the enemy.

"I was 'gonna say something to you," she began, before being cut-short with Alex's stern response of, "Well don't."

"Regardless of what you think of me and what your feelings are, fine, everyone's entitled to their opinions. If you stay, I don't want no hard feelings, just get on with it and just be normal. I don't like this tension between us," continued Jade, ignoring his response.

But Alex's guard began to slip as he replied, "I made you coffee didn't I?", in a deadpan voice.

"Smartarse," responded Jade with a smile, obviously thinking she was talking him 'round.

"You did make me coffee, I'm just saying I don't like the tension. I'd rather talk with everyone like we do normally. I don't care if you don't like me. Just put it aside, get on with it. Then when you get out you can slag me off, yeah?"

However, Alex then ended the conversation right there, with his closing statement, "I've got to think about things. I'll get back to you."

"Okay, that's nice," said the dental assistant, evidently not knowing quite what to do after her attempts to call a truce with the model moaner were not entirely successful.

Kate and Jonny have accepted her apology. However, will Jade ever have a courteous conversation with Alex again, or will the fussy one keep-up his 'talk to the hand, 'cos the face ain't listening' attitude all next week?!
