Get Your Skates On! - Mini-Task

Big Brother rudely interrupted the housemates' kip early this morning, by putting-out an announcement requesting someone to come to the store room.

Surprisingly, Jade and Kate were up like a flash, inquisitive as-to what the all-seeing power had, quite literally, in store for them.

"Oh my God", gasped Jade as the pair established Big Bro's plans: it had provided the group with four tubs full of roller-skates, helmets, and knee, elbow and wrist pads.

Tim, Alex and Jonny arrived shortly after and Jonny seemed enthused at the idea of roller-skating around the house, whilst Tim and Alex were less keen.

Kate revealed that she couldn't do it very well, but stated that she did like roller-skating. Tim also revealed that he was no expert, but added "Oh, it can't be hard," prompting Jonny to speculate that they might end-up in hospital!

Anyway, on to the task...

The task itself is for an endurance 'roller disco,' which will take place in the former paupers' bedroom... so that's what Big Brother was up to yesterday! The room has been cleared of beds and has had flashing lights installed.

From now until 6pm on Wednesday, whenever the hooter sounds, all housemates must don their skates and all the protective gear provided, and make their way to the grotto within 3 minutes. The hooter could sound at any time between 9am and 1am.

They must skate/ dance until the music stops, which could be anywhere between 30 seconds and ten minutes! If any one of the group fails to show on more than three occasions, they will have failed their task.

The reward for completing the task will be a 70's-themed party on Wednesday evening.
