Has Alex Peaked Too Soon?

You have to admit that at times, Alex has been compulsive viewing for Big Brother fans; but is his power to compel the audience waning?

The hygiene-obsessed model instigated the whole 'weegate' scandal in the early stages and showed some peculiar habits like insisting on keeping doors closed. This was guaranteed to bring him attention, although much of it was negative.

He's chatted to the chickens, kissed Adele, flirted with Kate, snubbed PJ and he undoubtedly has the ability to make the viewer both laugh and, conversely, throw stuff at their TV set in anger! Deadly serious one minute, playful the next.

However, although he did start to 'chill-out' a bit in the middle weeks, the Essex boy seems to have lost his sparkle of late.

He's taken to playing solitary games of darts and even avoids sunbathing because he can't stand the lack of peace when the others join him.

The 23-year-old model also bemoaned his own lack of enthusiasm when he failed to join-in with the recent water slide games, referring to himself as boring.

So, has the bookies favourite peaked too soon, or will 'return to form' for the finale of the show?

In just less than two weeks time, we'll get to find out.
