Fickle Footie Fans

Football fans PJ and Kate, have been talking about their relative teams tonight.

During a frantic game of table football, PJ suddenly asked the pretty IT girl, "How long have you supported Arsenal?"

"Since I was about eight," came the reply, from the girl who's known for wearing a 'Bergkamp' shirt around the house.

"Why Arsenal?" pried PJ.

"Because my Dad supported Charlton and I didn't want to support Charlton," stated the girl who did rather well in the practice for the keepie-uppie task some weeks back.

Kate continued with, "And my twin sister decided she was going to support Millwall, but I thought they were a bit rowdy. My best friend supported Arsenal, so I decided to support Arsenal."

She then turned the question back on PJ, enquiring how long the Brummie had supported Birmingham City FC for.

"Probably since I was ten or eleven," came his reply. "I did support Villa, arch-rivals, for about ten years. But then I started playing for the Blues, used to get free tickets, so I started supporting them."

"Judas!" Tim laughed.
