PJ Predicts Romance

Alex and Kate seem to be getting closer and closer of late and it's a fact that hasn't gone unnoticed by some of the other housemates.

As the 'unlikely couple' scrubbed each other's backs in the bath tonight, Jonny and PJ chatted about the developing bond between them.

"Alex and Kate are getting on really well, aren't they? What's happening there then?" asked PJ.

"I think he's just realised she's a nice girl," replied Jonny.

"On the flip side, you could say it's worked both ways," PJ added.

"Maybe they've both realised they're not the type of people they thought they were," continued Jonny. "I think she's attracted to him, and she was attracted to him from the beginning, wasn't she?"

And in fact, if you think back to the first week, that is true; Kate did think that Alex was good-looking, but he 'wasn't too sure' about her. The IT girl subsequently found friendship in Spanky, whilst Alex bonded with Sandy and frolicked with Adele... after fending-off the amorous attentions of Alison. Remember?!

Also, Alex nominated Kate at the 5th Nominations, but she has nominated him every week she's had the opportunity, so what's the chances of a relationship building on the back of that lot?

About a possible relationship between the two bathers, PJ stated with a hint of jealousy, "She likes that kind of bloke, doesn't she?"

So, PJ has predicted romance. And, seeing as Alex has now revealed that he doesn't fancy Adele, it's one Big Brother relationship that just might have legs.
