The Divide Comes Down/ This Week's Task

At around 9.15pm tonight, the housemates were confined to their bedrooms while music was played into the house.

This made the paupers wonder what was going-on and a savvy Jonny claimed, "The divide's coming man! That's why they've put music on." And indeed he was right; the divide was being dismantled as the housemates danced around the bedroom.

Then, at 10pm, came the weekly task, incorporating the much hyped but oh-so-secret 'sacrifice'.

This week, there were no quizzes, assault courses or challenges to be completed and in return for Big Bro bringing down the bars, all the housemates had to do was select two people to watch a short video from their families.

"What's so hard about that?" you ask. Well, the two that watched the vid would automatically be up for eviction. "Oh!"

Upon establishing the consequences, no-one was keen to volunteer, with Jonny claiming that he didn't want to put his family through having to travel down again. "Is anybody happy to go up for eviction?" asked Tim, receiving no response.

PJ has being saying recently that he wants to experience being a nominee, however the Brummie law man failed to come forward. Instead, the group picked pieces of paper from a cup, two of which were marked with chocolate.

First to make a fateful selection was PJ, quickly followed by Kate. The pair would therefore face eviction this Friday and the other four housemates were safe for another week.

Upon watching their videos on the big plasma screen, PJ started blubbing and was consoled by Jade. Referring to himself as a 'wuss,' he was told by Alex that his crying was the sign of a real man.

Kate also shed some tears after seeing her Mum and twin sister and hearing how the family dog was watching her on Big Brother!
