Girls vs Boys

Having played the board and word association games earlier in the evening, the housemates moved-on to real 'hands on' stuff, with a Girls vs Boys games of giant Jenga.

In the super-sized version of the game where you build a tower from wooden blocks and take turns to remove them one at a time, the group added some of their own rules.

Strangely, they weren't allowed to use two hands to remove a block and they didn't place the removed blocks on the top of the tower, as-is the usual practice.

After 5 minutes of play, things were going quite well until it came around to Jade's turn again. Possibly on the advice of Alex, the bubbly Londoner went for a block low down the tower, but the choice proved to have been misjudged.

With the construction already wobbly after Jonny's near miss, Jade fatally opted to remove a block that could have no other outcome than to collapse it.

As realisation dawned with some of the other players, the Bermondsey youngster continued to manipulate her chosen block but her efforts were in vain.

The tower came crashing to the floor, prompting Kate to rush over and offer a consoling hug.

One nil to the boys!
