Let's Be Friends
After what seems like weeks of disdain against her, Jade
has come forward to clear the air with Sophie.
Sat at the dinner table with Sophie, Alex and Adele, Jade
began to cry as she let her emotion flow; the latter pair
promptly vacated the area, leaving the two enemies alone to
slug out a reconciliation.
"I'm sorry Sophie, I've been a right bitch," Jade
wept, before attempting to explain why she'd shown such malice
to the 'matey' recruitment consultant.
"You told me you were up-front," stated Jade, "and
since I came on this side, I couldn't find faults so I was
digging for reasons." Jade had previously acknowledged
to other housemates that she was getting bored and was just
picking on things because there was nothing else to do.
"It came across to me you were trying to beg a friend.
It seemed to me (that) you would do anything to please anybody,"
Jade continued, only for Sophie to offer a defence of, "But
that's my personality."
With both girls sobbing, Sophie told Jade, "I was annoyed
because I didn't know why you didn't like me... it hurt my
feelings 'cos I thought I didn't do anything wrong. I do actually
think you're a nice girl."
"I didn't like (the fact) that you and Tim would sit
there and talk behind my back. It's not a nice thing to do,"
concluded the brunette housemate.
And with the mention of Tim's name, Jade blamed him for instigating
all the bad mouthing. However in truth, it has been hard to
work out precisely who instigated it, what with Adele, Tim
and Jade all happy to participate at times.
So, it seems that Jade has reconciled her differences with
Sophie, but it remains to be seen whether Tim will follow
suit.
Frankly, the almost 'final hour' reconciliation has come
too late to alter the course of Sophie's future in the Big
Brother house. But, will it change people's attitudes towards
Tim?
