Beard Today, Gone Tomorrow

After hinting for days that he was thinking of chopping-off the trademark beard, Alex has finally gone ahead and taken razor to face.

Since Big Brother 3 began, the male model has sported the facial fuzz, so we're not used to seeing him with a face like a babies bum.

However, that's exactly how he emerged from the bathroom earlier today, after losing the beard and following a thorough moisturising routine.

And boy did he look different?!

"He looks so different," exclaimed both Adele and PJ, as the housemates struggled to recognise the Essex boy. One by one, they couldn't quite get over how much of a change it was to see Alex's chisel jaw.

Tim even commented, rather obviously, that the fussy 23-year-old looked just like one of the models on the front cover of a magazine. Erm... have you been paying attention Tim?

Chuffed with his smooth new look, Alex made his way to the diary room to deliver a 'clean shaven' Birthday message to his Mum, his main motive for taking such drastic action.
