Public Service Announcement

The boys have been getting a unique insight into new housemate Tim's social conscience.

As night set in, PJ, Jonny and Tim chatted about politics and public services in the garden.

Earlier the youngster had been noticeably isolated, and appeared to jump at the chance for a serious conversation.

"I've never understood why teachers and nurses don't get paid 100,000 a year," Tim commented, ready, willing and able to back up his remark. "There would be so much competition [then].

"Teachers are the future of our country," he continued with gusto.

His statement was even more enlightening coming from Tim - he listed Margaret Thatcher's autobiography as his favourite book in his Big Brother application form.

But the hypothetical notion of creating a more skilled workforce was far from law student PJ's mind.

"I so want to get into figures," he emphasised, unaware of the irony behind his innocent statement. "I love number crunching."
