Keeping It Real

Have the housemates been hiding their feelings? Are people's true colours starting to show? Yes - according to PJ, who's been explaining his outburst against Alex.

The trainee lawyer told Jonny he had cracked under the strain of having to get along with his fellow housemates.

"There's certain people in here that you put up with, you're friendly to and enjoy a conversation with, but only because you're in here. Eventually it all comes out because of things like this."

And he revealed that he had been secretly unhappy for the past few days, "The last couple of days I've been so pissed off and I've bit my tongue and I've thought, f**k it, people have got to know how I feel. Today I just had to do it, I was angry, simple as that."

Jonny didn't complain, though. The fireman told PJ he was pleased he had reacted angrily, "It's made me realise it's not just me thinking 'Oh, for f***'s sake', because I've been looking at everybody being nice and cuddling each other and stroking each other and thinking, 'How long is this going to last, everybody being nice to one another?'"

PJ admitted, "I haven't been true to myself," but was more upset at what he saw as a betrayal by Alex. He conceded he wasn't exactly best friends with the model, but pointed to a conversation in which he'd opened up to him.

"This week I spent a lot more time with him and I felt differently to him than I did the first week," he began. "I had a proper, almost a woman's, kind of chat about how much I was struggling in here, how much I was down and I just thought he'd do me a favour."

Alex's failure to invite the 22-year-old for a week on the 'rich' side has left PJ with a vastly different opinion of the model, "I think Alex is quite sly to be honest. He's got a hidden agenda."

So are the housemates about to crack? The bed-sharing has stopped, rowing has begun and accusations of hidden agendas are flying left, right and centre. PJ and Jonny have decided that honesty is the best policy, but, as the argument with Alex showed, they could make more enemies than friends...
