So Sad Sophie

Lee has gone and while the majority of the remaining housemates are adjusting well to the loss - eating left-over pizza and talking mainstream American blockbusters - one housemate doesn't look as happy.

To begin with, Sophie cut a lost figure amongst the rest of the groups' giggly chat.

And maybe it had something to do with Lee's parting comments to the group. Since entering the fray, the recruitment girl enjoyed a special bond with the love god.

She went from saying their relationship was 'platonic' to confessing to Jade last night that there was an 'attraction', but shortly before Mr Lover Lover left this evening, he dealt the 25-year old what many would perceive to be as a killer blow.

As he went round the group telling each housemate what he thought of them, Sophie's name cropped up early. "Sophie, you are a wicked mate" - ouch! "A wicked mate," he reiterated, as if she needed to hear it again.

But as the muscle man moved his attention to Adele, the praise positively gushed from his mouth. "Adele, you're very intelligent, you're gorgeous, you're always smiling, you're a lovely girl."

Absence, they say, makes the heart grow fonder, but Sophie, who has had enough time to ponder this little saying and get her head around Lee's last words, seems to have come to a sensible conclusion.

Looking sad but determined she told the group, "In a way, I'm glad he's gone 'cos it means I wasn't mixing with you guys, but now I can."

Is this Sophie's cue for a reintroduction to the housemates' high-jinks?
