The Mini-Task - The Result

The rich housemates have spent four hours going 'round and around the pool this afternoon, to try and win a treat for both themselves and the paupers.

They succeeded with ease, but the poor group almost didn't notice and seemed unmoved by the other's efforts. However, the paupers were rewarded with a pool table for the night, which soon made them pay attention!

So, what was the richies' reward, the mystery treat that Big Brother had earlier referred-to as 'a little bit of sunshine?' We predicted that it would be either a sunbed or some fake tanning lotion and sure enough, we were right. It was the latter.

"Whoopee, bloody, do, dah," came Sophie's sarcastic response upon seeing the lotions, soaps and shower gels provided. But Kate was altogether more enthusiastic, exclaiming, "This is good, this stuff!"

It was a bizarre reward given that the paupers had been given a fun pool table to play with, albeit a cheapy one. We're sure that the richies would rather have had a proper coin slot pool table for themselves, or perhaps a full-size snooker table, something befitting their status.

Still, at least they'll all smell nice tomorrow, even if they have had to paradoxically watch 'how the other half live' tonight!
