Jonny Gets Things Off His Chest

Kate and Jonny have conducted a much-needed heart-to-heart in the garden, discussing their fears over eviction, their evicted housemate Alison and Sandy's parting shots to them both.

Jonny was in contemplative mood over the possibility of being evicted on Friday and told Kate that he was scared. The IT girl agreed wholeheartedly.

Taking this as his cue to open up, Jonny admitted, "When you get nominated, your family just bang into your head... I hope no one thinks, 'Jonny you're a pleb for getting nominated in the third week.'"

The once-chirpy fireman also feared being thought of as a let-down but Kate was quick to reassure him, "You haven't let anyone down, honey."

But self-doubt was obviously creeping up on him. "I'm quite a popular lad outside," he said, "and I've got a good reputation... But I wonder if coming in here has changed that."

The conversation soon came round to Sandy, who last night told Jonny he found his humour "basic" and told Kate he thought her "manipulative". The pair were clearly upset with the judgements passed on them by the personal shopper.

Kate pondered, "[He said] I was manipulative. I hate that word, it's such a strong word to use." The pair then discussed the 43-year-old's comments on evicted Alison, whom Sandy described as "too in-yer-face".

"But that's what I loved about Alison," Kate appealed. Jonny agreed. "I don't know how anyone couldn't like Alison," he said.

With gushing praise for the evicted Brummie, Jonny continued, "She was like my family, friends and girlfriend all rolled into one. We could have done with a few more Alisons in here."

As the pair looked pensively into the distance, Jonny got things off his chest once and for all. "It's been a hard week for us because [Alison] left. I totally bounced off Alison - literally as well!"

But the County Durham lad's thoughts were soon back on eviction. "If I was on the poor side I don't think I'd be waiting to go out."
