Strike One

We've been waiting for Big Brother to prove it's metal in the toughness stakes and the all-seeing power has finally clamped-down on the naughty contestants.

Following last night's blatant and persistent flouting of the rules by many of the housemates, Big Brother summoned each and every one of them to the diary room this afternoon to be reprimanded.

They were instructed to re-read the rules and were ticked-off for their misbehaviour, just like school! But what about the strikes that Big Bro promised before the show began? Well, they were reserved for the naughtiest of the children, Spencer and Kate.

Apart from the contraband shenanigans at Sandy's leaving do, the pair had both crossed the house divide over the past 24 hours. Spencer claimed that he had to do it, so that he could wake the richies to watch the footie.

However, it was clearly a yellow card offence and a strike was duly handed out. Kate also got an official strike but both housemates seemed to be amused at the prospect and were almost boastful about it.

2 more strikes however and it would no longer be a laughing matter. Watch-out housemates, the 'new improved' Big Brother finally sees all!
