The Mini-Task - How They Fared
Big Brother had earlier set the housemates a mini-task, which
was to keep a ball in the air with as many keepie-uppies as
possible.
Sophie was up first and the alleged kick-boxing fan got off
to a hesitant start, taking seemingly ages to throw the ball
into the air and get cracking. 4 keep-ups later, her turn
was over.
Jade went next and despite her lack of confidence, managed
a not-too-bad 3 (not too bad in the context of Radio 1 DJ
Chris Moyles and crew, who earlier today couldn't do much
better when practising in the studio!).
Then it was Adele's go and the fitness fan looked calm and
collected at the start. She managed a much more impressive
9, before losing control of the ball.
Finally, like Beckham about to take a crucial free kick,
all eyes were on Kate. The Londoner, who was seen doing keepie-uppies
in her Big Brother application video, had managed 22 in practice.
So, she was a bit of a dab hand, or foot, as the case may
be.
However, 9 keepie-uppies later the game was all over. A disappointed
Kate threw her toys out of the pram and appeared to boot the
ball over the wall!
Still, their efforts meant that the whole house would get
to watch 25 minutes of the England Vs Nigeria game and the
boys were pleased... though not as pleased as they might have
been had Kate pulled off the required 74, enabling them to
watch the whole match!
