Kate 4 Spencer?

It was predicted that Kate and Spencer might get together whilst in the house, but the Big Brother psychologists now think otherwise.

Having studied recent video-tape footage prior to the 'rich man, poor man' divide, psychologist Geoff Beattie says that Kate's relationship with Spencer is more like a friendship.

He explained his theory by showing how Kate acts the same way with Spencer, as she did with Alison. The former pair do not really have much direct eye contact in each other's presence and are therefore not displaying the signs of being emotionally involved.

Spencer is also not protective of Kate and doesn't seem to have responded to her advances. He indicated his indifference recently when he said, "IF we still keep in touch...," to his would-be love.

When quizzed by Jade a couple of nights ago about his interest in Kate, the chilled-out contestant said, "I like her most out of all the birds in here," but went on to say that he wasn't necessarily interested in her in an intimate way.

So, what with them being on different sides of the house now, that could be one potential Big Brother relationship down the pan. It was always more 'Kate 4 Spencer' than 'Spencer 4 Kate' anyhow.
