Alison Leaves... Eventually!
She'd lasted 15 days and almost eaten
them out of house and home, but the time had come for Alison
to leave the Big Brother house!
She had already said an emotional farewell to her new best
friends Jonny and Kate, with Jonny, a funny guy himself, describing
Big Ali as, "One of the funniest people that I have ever
met."
The actress/ cinema worker had recovered somewhat from Sandy's
puzzling but cutting remarks and, donning her glad rags including
a glittery "Big and Beautiful" top, prepared to
leave the house. She hugged everyone except fellow nominees
Alex and Sandy.
When it was time to go, she ran around the house like a women
possessed (normal behaviour for our Ali!) and even jumped
onto the kitchen table at one point. Luckily, it held up this
time so there was to be no more breakages notched-up on Ali's
'clumsiness' tab!
The countdown finished and Big Brother had ordered Alison
out of the house, but she was reluctant to go. She even messed
around at the top of the stairs pretending to fall over before
having problems opening the door.
Once outside, she was met by Davina and there were none of
the boos that Alison was so afraid of hearing at her eviction.
The crowd gave the bubbly ex-contestant a rousing exit walk.
"I'm so happy, man!" Alison enthused as she hugged
Davina.
The host then guided Alison past the press and the banner-waving
public to be reunited with her Mum, who gave Ali a big hug
in the midst of the large crowd.
During her interview inside the studio, Alison watched some
highlights of her two week Big Brother stint and got emotional
at one point, when seeing how upset Kate looked that she'd
gone.
She talked about how Sandy never integrated, detailed how
Alex 'did her head in' and was surprised to find that Spencer
and (particularly) Adele had nominated her. "You wait
'til she comes out!" she said half-jokingly.
Food-loving Ali also revealed when Davina asked her if she'd
had a game plan, that it was, "To eat as much as possible!"
When pushed for her opinion on who would go next and who would
win, Ali's choices were a little predictable.
Sandy would be next out and Jonny would win, were her predictions.
About the latter, she said, "He's himself. He's fantastic,
funny, hilarious."
The interview ended with the all-important question from
a probing Davina, "(So) did you wee in the shower?"
"No," came the reply; she said that just to wind
Alex up... we think it worked!
Well done Ali, you've provided some great entertainment over
the past two weeks and we wish you could have stayed-on a
bit longer. Go get yourself a Chinese on us 'gal!
