Adele's Backing Sandy

The morning of the eviction saw Sandy's regular bitching session being replaced by a confidence-boosting chat with Adele.

The Scot usually teams up with Alex to have an early-morning moan about the rest of the House, but this time he sat down with Adele and was told, "I don't want you to leave."

Adele is worried about how the housemates will start acting if Sandy is evicted: "Your presence means there's authority here. If you go they will just be so bad, I can just tell. There's certain things people won't do just because you're in here."

And there was more praise to come. Adele told him she admired the way he was "to the point" and explained, "As soon as you go to bed, nobody comes into the room and f***s around. I think you'll come across well."

She told Sandy she didn't think he would be evicted, but he was less convinced. He said he was unsure about his chances, blaming the way he had separated himself from the rest of the group.

Instead, Sandy tipped Alex to stay in the House, saying it was because Alex was good-looking. And it soon became clear who both Adele and Sandy would like to wave goodbye to.

"I'm not too sure about Alison," said Sandy as Adele nodded in agreement. "I think a lot of people think she's brash and in your face and that might put them off - well, it's put me off."
